Pola Micheri is a brand created by Polish designer, Pauline Misiarz, with unique creations for special occasions in mind. It was created to help your ideal dress dreams, come true. Perfectly cut, carefully sewn, and done in accordance with the client’s wishes the one of the kind dresses Poli Micheri awake awe and wonder in any environment. The designer ensures that each dress not only shows off the beauty of the woman wearing it, but also an expression of her temperament and a reflection of her personality – because there is also beauty in self-confidence.

Dresses designed and sewn by Pola Micheri are a true work of art. Every piece comes made with passion and the most intricate details. It starts with an idea, then the beginning of a project. A search to source the best materials. Exceptional events require opulent dressing, hence why Pola Micheri’s dresses are created with the best fabrics available; Italian silk and satin, Spanish lace, tulle and organza. The next stage is sewing, fitting and adding the finishing touches – often by hand and very demanding. This all results in Pola Micheri’s signature designs being both exclusive and unique.

Dresses based on…dreams
To bring your dream dress into life we approach this is in a complex and original way. Each dress is designed and sewn in a way that replicates what you had in mind as closely as possible. We give you freedom of choice – you can leave it to us to prepare the dress, or you are equally welcome to show us your vision which we will proceed to bring to life.
How do we work?
The job starts with a meeting and discussion, during which we ask what kinds of dresses you like, what kinds of fits you feel good in and which colours and materials are to your liking. Together we find inspiration looking through celebrity stylists and current trends. When we have found a common vision, we present you with a few base designs of ours from which you pick one that speaks to you the most. We then begin the search for the perfect material in which we will prepare your samples. We will also decide together the amount of embellishments and decorations the dress will have. This first conceptual stage is finished with a quote of the price of the dress. After the deposit is paid we will begin working on the dress.
Your measurements will be taken and there are no limits to how many fittings you can have as we are aware that they are essential in ensuring your dress is perfect. They help us correctly design and measure out the length of the sleeves, depth of the cleavage, the width of the train and individual decorations etc. We also take note of how the material drapes around your body and how it looks whilst moving or dancing. These details take a huge part in your overall satisfaction of the dress. The standard time from order to delivery is around 30 days, although this ultimately depends on the complexity of the dress, availability of materials and the number of fittings necessary.
About the brand
Pola Micheri, founded by Pauline Misiarz was made in mind with women confident in their uniqueness, going through life with passion and finding their own way. For Pola Micheri, fashion is not only an addition to your personality but also a way to express yourself. The idea for the label came about in an unusual way too. Pauline Misiarz, on the way to her PhD students’ ball was looking for a one of kind creation that would make her stand out from the crowd. However, finding something truly original proved to be surprisingly difficult. Every dress available in mainstream shops was ill-fitting, too similar to each other or plain…boring. The future designer decided that she will come up with and sew her own ballgown. She chose a beautiful satin in the shade of ripe raspberries, complimenting the delicate lace of the same colour. With the help of a seamstress friend she cut, fit and put together the dress that turned out to be an unquestionable hit at the ball. Throughout the party dozens of people asked – “where is your beautiful dress from?” – and that is how the first signature design of Pola Micheri turned into the brand it is today.
Thanks to inspiration from Parisian and Milanese runways, Pola Micheri is able to combine fabrics together and knows how to highlight the beauty and individuality of everyone. Working with materials and forming patterns brings her great joy, which is why she aims to bring women’s wildest dreams to life through these dresses. Pola knows best that there aren’t two women on this Earth who’s taste and temperament are the same. This inspires her to use her creativity and ability to listen to clients to come up with completely personalised and individual works of wearable art, which anyone will feel 100% true to themselves upon wearing. You will not find these in any shops!
